I don't know if this is the last of the Dark Hunter books - it may be, but there's definitely openings for more (right, Nick?). This one was definitely different!
Acheron was actually like two books in one. The first book (as in the first 400 pages) was a big piece of Acheron's backstory. Since he's lived for 11,000 years, it's easy to see how it would take up so many pages! Finally! I have made it to Acheron!
Acheron's past is more horrible than I could have imagined. I really thought that although it was tough to read, it was worth it to get to the bones of this character. Without Ryssa, Ash would have suffered more than what he had. Part 1= 5 stars
Acheron's present day was at times very sweet. I liked that he became flustered at not seeing the future of Tory and how he actually got a little goofy around her. (Tory was pretty great by the way) What I didn't like.. ...more

This is one long book, but to get it all in it really had to be. I decided to tackle it on audio instead of reading and it took awhile (not because of the book, but because of me), but it was well worth it in the end.

Well WOW!!!! The book was great to say the least. I did hope for a better ending. But all in all... WOW!!!
