I listened to this on audio (17 hours) and I may have enjoyed it more on the page. It felt slow and repetitive so I was continually thinking, comeoncomeoncomeon. In book form, I could have skimmed ahead. There were some great suspenseful moments and I like all the symbology (is that the right word?) but just not enough to keep my mind on the story as it was playing.

The third installment in the Robert Langdon series, The Lost Symbol features another group that focuses on religion and has a lot of secrets--the Freemasons. This story was good, but not as enjoyable as the previous two. The science aspects were really interesting and all true, but I felt like the book was reaching at some points. I really liked this book, not as good as the previous two in the saga but still highly enjoyable. A bit slow to begin with and I have to admit that I guess a couple of the twists well before they were revealed but that could just be because I've read all Dan Brown's books now so maybe able to guess how his mind is working.....!

I really would give this 3 1/2 starts, too bad they don't to half. This book is a bit slow, and it's similar to Dan Brown's other books. But I did like it. You just have to stick with it and then the reward comes towards the end. So my friends if you read this book, make sure to stick around to the end, that's the best part.
