Fluttering Thoughts:
World Building: A cross between spectacular Victorian London and awesome fantasy, a full delight just like in the first book. I'm a total geek for Victorian! xD
Characters: Cool, as always. While Will was more center stage in the first book, it's safe to say Jem gets a lot of standing ovations in this one. As a matter of fact, I liked Will better in book #1, but that's the evil me speaking, the one who loves tortured characters to be tortured but mysterious :D Resolved mysteri ...more

Victorian Era London was never so chastely sinful until Cassandra Clare penned her Prince. London is burning with betrayal, passion, intrigue, secrets, and lies, all layout in an action packed carefully laid plot to unhinge our beloved shadowhunters with these Infernal Devices.

OH my goodness. I am so in love with this series. I will force myself not to start book 3 until tomorrow or else I might not go to sleep tonight.
Book 2 breaks my heart. I knew it would. I can't say that I'm surprised necessarily with what happened in the story, and the overall plot for the series did not move forward nearly as much as I would've liked, but it is set up nicely for a HUGE finale with Clockwork Princess. I am glad that I, unlike many of the other fans of this series, do not have to ...more

Wow, what an awesome second book in the series. Absolutely loved it! Loved everything about it. The love, the love triangle, the suspense, the action, etc. Mostly I don't like love triangles in series. But I'll make an exception for this series because it sooo good and I both Jem and Will equally. They are both perfect for Tessa. The plot was really interesting just like the first book. It made me want to just rip thought the book and see just what happens. But I had to be calm and go through sl

Off the charts amazing! Why I waited so long to read this I don't know. Honestly, I'm glad I did. I could not have waited for CP as long as everyone else. Read this for Mundie Mom's read-along and I cheated. After the last chapter I couldn't stop. Still have the exclusive content to read. Review SOON!

The first thought I had after reading the last word of Clockwork Prince was: When's the next installment? I can't wait! Never have I been so torn between two characters! Clare's portrayal of Will and Jem was so touching that at times I felt my own heart caught up in it, almost breaking. Poor Tessa! Clare did a superb job evoking empathy from me--which is an almost impossible feat. Add to that, horrors and betrayal around every corner, stunning world building, breathtaking romance--and you've onl
