I dont know what it is about these books that I am drawn to? Maybe the poems and references to other books. Maybe the young innocent love or good vs evil? Either way it is a pleasure to read. This one was the closure of Valentine. We discover Clary and Jaces secrets of their childhood. We also get to sleep next to them as sister and brother. Clary faces her mom and asks the questions she always wanted to know and Jace learns the truth and it doesn't totally free him because there is still a fear ...more

Clary's mother is still asleep and she has to go to home country of the Shadowhunters (illegally) to find the one person that can help her. The painful realization about Valentine and the battle he wages will put the entire world at risk.

This was an amazing and exhausting read. The battles, the secrets and the heartbreaking romance between Jace and Clary kept me up reading late into the night. Just when you think everything will work out, BAM, you are hit with another plot twist. Another great ...more
