So this book reads like a play to me. At the end of each chapter it's like a curtain falling and I think that's what I love about this series. I can never figure out what's going to happen and it's exciting and fresh all the time. In this particular book I thought the demons and the fighting was over the top but it didn't take away from Jace and his teen angst which is a quality I love about him.

This book surprised a lot of people because of one particular element to the plot. I won't give it away, but let me just say this: It's ok. Everything will resolve itself.

The twists and turns in the plot made this installment another unputdownable book. Every time you think that you know all there is to know about this world, another plot twist is revealed and you have to keep reading. ...more

I enjoyed this second book in the series more than the first book; however, I just can't seem to connect to any of the characters. The plot remains interesting enough that I will continue on.
