This is a great story that combines steamy romance, suspense, humor, with angels, demons, and second chances. The characters are intriguing and their stories are woven together cleverly. The plot development is well done and the ending sets you up for future books.

I did enjoy this, not as in rapture as with the BDB just yet, but it was only book one, and I have lots of faith in Ms. Ward and her badass writing. On to my next soul to save.
