Whatever J.R. Ward touches turns to Gold! This has always been my initial school of though since I first picked up "Lover Mine", with that said I'm sad to say that even the goddess has her off days. "Lover Mine" was a much anticipated book for me but, was a little let down. This could be due to the fact that John Matthew has been a side story for along time and when it was finally his turn to be in the spotlight he and Xhex feel short for me.
