Non sono riuscita a finire di leggerlo, questo libro è troppo BRUTTO, non posso definirlo in altro modo!
Superficiale, banale, confusionario e per di più scritto male.
Ho letto un centinaio di pagine e l'unica cosa che ho capito nel minestrone di vampiri, umani, mezzosangue, umani senza anima, confraternite e scemenze varie, a cui non si riesce a dare un senso, è che l'autrice si è "inventata" ( termine eccessivo, visto che sembra più una scopiazzatura da vari libri) tutta questa storia solo per ...more

This book was hard for me to get into. I loved Twilight, and I expected that I would love this book as well. When it still wasn't doing it for me after a quarter of the way through the book, I wondered whether my expectations were too high after seeing all of the amazing reviews for this series!

I'm so glad that I was a late-comer to Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. That just meant that I got to read six (or was it seven?) books back-to-back-to-etc.
The first book in the series, Dark Lover sets the pace and tone for all of the books in the series. We are introduced to the king of the vampires, Wrath, and the rest of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. What a great book. I loved every page. I can't wait to read them all. So upset with myself for not picking up this series sooner. One of my favorite reads.
