Catching Fire left me in shock, and Mockingjay just wowed me. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Mockingjay takes us right into war, and it's not pretty, but when is war ever pretty!?! Suzanne Collins does a brilliant job at bringing to life a darker world with the ugliness of war, the politics, the lies, the suffering and yes, even the small glimmer of hope that comes from a movement backed by a few people, called rebels.

I need to start out saying I’m still reeling from this book. My mind is still processing this story, and I think I will continue to do so for some time.
This book is an action packed emotional roller coaster ride from the first page. It tells the story from Katniss’ perspective, and through her eyes we see the courage and fear, hope and despair, kindness and cruelty that exist during a civil war. We see the struggle of this young girl who’s been forced by circ ...more

I really had a hard time reading about all the events that were forced on the characters in this book. By now I love each and every one of them and hated to see them hurt, suffering or sadly dead. I do on the other hand believe strongly that someone should not stand by and allow others to suffer no matter the cost. It's easy to stand under an umbrella when the rains come and pretend it's not raining. Katniss embodies courage and for such a young girl she has strong beliefs and she held on and sh

My Review: First off, let me just say that I finished Mockingjay a few days ago and I am still trying to process what went on. My mind is still turning and I can't stop thinking about The Hunger Games series!! To me, that is what makes a great story- any book that makes a person reflect on the ideas and event that just took place and they can't let go of it or sometimes can't even make complete sense of it- the rest is up to us to think about and imagine.

The Final Hunger Games begins!
Best points:
: A non-stop action paced enchantment from start to finish!
: An ending that made sense!
: Not everyone survives, realistic and honest
: Katniss does nothing to make me not regret her being my favourite charector
from nearl all my read-books. She is honest and real, never tries to be something
she is not and refuses to be used like before, a pawn in the Hunger Games.
Worst Points:
It was the last book.
Overall:
Amazing last enstallment by Suzanne Collins, and a f ...more

This book was the hardest of the 3 for me to get through. I enjoyed the book , but at the same time it made me sad the whole way through. I'm not quiet sure how I feel about the ending. I'm left neither sad or happy.

Very good, but not as good as the first two. The end seems rushed.
