What Members Thought

The reason I waited so long to write my review for this book is because I wanted to finish the entire series before reviewing the books, that way, I would have the full picture in mind when I started talking about what I did and did not like about the characters and plot.
**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**
Catching Fire was my least favorite book of the series. That being said, I do not mean that I do not like it. Even though it is not my favorite of the Hunger Games series, this book still flies right up with ...more

Let the Games begin! Again! I was worried that the 2nd book would be just like a horrible movie sequel, but I wasn't let down.
Our heroine is back and who would ever think that she would have to return to the arena. This time it's the Quarterly Quell and Peeta is once again by her side as they face new (actually other former Hunger Games winners) opponents in front of the television cameras. If you thought the first book was violent, wait until you read Catching Fire. There are just as many twist ...more

My Review: If someone told me that the second book after The Hunger Games was better than the first I would have had a hard time believing them. Suzanne Collins 1st book was just amazing, how could book #2 top that?
Catching Fire starts off with Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark back in District 12. I was relieved to know that they were finally back home and safe (or at least safe for a while). The beginning of Catching Fire was slow, but I think that ...more

I have become deliberately addicted on The Hunger Games. Thanks to my friend, I wouldn’t love this book. Well, as you can see… I am now! I awarded myself a complete set of the trilogy a few weeks ago. And I didn’t disappoints me for the second time. Let’s see what I thought about Catching Fire.
The Plot. The first book really is great. The fight sequence, dramas and all. Catching Fire totally reached to its new level. It became darker and menacing. The feeling of excitement and anticipation drive ...more

This book is AWESOME!!!!!! WOW! WOW! WOW! This book is so full of twists and turns and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Suzanne does a brilliant job of literally picking up where HG left off. I seriously can NOT wait another year for book three! I swear I felt every emotion through out this book and I even found myself yelling out loud. I can't wait to get this in Sept.
