Why did I wait so long to read this again?

Okay, without going into the whole plot thing, I just have to say this book was two things: Surprising and exciting.
I was surprised because it wasn't like any other young adult book I had ever read and exciting because it was full of fast-paced action, and by action I mean fight scenes. Lots and lots of fight scenes.
I knew this book was going to be different when Katniss talked about the bobcat that started following her around. I expected it to become a pet....oh no, because she is concerned it ...more

I had heard SO much about this book but the premise didn't really interest me...until I got into it. I couldn't put it down and read the The Hunger Games and Catching Fire in a day. I loved the idea, the plot, the romance and everything about it. This is one of my new favorite books. I can't believe I have to wait so long for the third book to come out!
