I'm one of the few that love new moon - and have grown to love it even more over time. True, the Jacob section isn't what interests me the most, though Bella does grow quite a bit and realize that there can be life and maybe even love without Edward. Granted it's better with him, but she would have survived had they not been reunited.

I've read this book so many times that the cover has de-laminated. One thing that I've done from the beginning is seen the struggles from Edward's POV (hence my fan

In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a delic

My least favorite of the Twilight series, but I simply love the last half. Stephenie Meyer is such a great writer that you go on the journey of emotions with the characters.

New Moon is the most depressing book in the Twilight series, but it's also one of my favorites. As much as love Edward, I really enjoyed getting to know Jacob and his family so much more. Originally, Stephenie Meyer has planned this book to cmbine the stories in books 2-4 of the series, and I am happy that she decided to add the extra books and flesh the stories out. Everything would seem so rushed and you wouldn't have the emotional investment in the La Push characters, because this is really t ...more

After reading Twilight I quickly read New Moon. I don't want to give anything away, but you'll be left wanting more of Edward in this book. You come to know Jacob, and love him as a character. Bella is an accident waiting to happen, and when she isn't waiting for trouble to find her she goes looking for it. This is a page turner, and I guarantee that once you finish it you'll have to get Eclipse, the next book in the series. ...more

Book 2 of Twilight Series...This book had a nice twist. Being an avid reader I could pretty much predict where a book will take me. I don't want to spoil the story, but events had to happen in this book to prepare for the third book. I'll just impart some words...like...Heartbreak, Anguish, Survival, and True Love. ...more

February 2016 - Again, I needed a book to take me away and back to a simpler time in my life. This one did the trick.

May 2008 - I enjoyed this book better the second time through. I was able to sit back and enjoy it more. But, Twilight is still my favorite.

I had to read this book several times, and the next one, in order to completely appreciate it. Alone, I miss Edward too much; part of the series, it fills a necessary role.

This one is a bit slower than Twilight but I still like it.. after reading it the second time I liked it even more and was able to understand the other main character.

Good read, made me mad at times, also made me cry at times, not as good as the first, but still good.
