Wow, another awesome series by Stephanie Meyer. it could be possible that I like this series more than the Twilight series. But this book was fantastic and just plain awesome. it was sweet, romantic, funny, suspenseful, a little long, etc. I was lucky to have the bonus chapter in my copy from the library and I love the cover. The bonus chapter was great. i was glad to have at least one chapter in Melanie's point of view. I just love her. She was strong like fighting for control in her own body a Wow, another awesome series by Stephanie Meyer. it could be possible that I like this series more than the Twilight series. The bonus chapter was great. i was glad to have at least one chapter in Melanie's point of view. I just love her. She was strong like fighting for control in her own body and brave for jumping into the elevator shack to escape the seekers control. She would have rather have died then be caught. So the plot was fantastic and really unique. I have never read any other dystopian book like it. But I loved it. I loved the chapter headings and how after every chapter there was suspense and it made me want to like tear through the book. I have to admit it was kind of long. I mean 619 pages was the plot. The whole book was 656 with the bonus stuff. Also the one thing I didn't like was that the beginning was kinda stretched out and there was some parts that kept going on and on. But other than that, it was great. The characters were fantastic. I loved the passion and love that Jared and Melanie had and the caring relationship between Melanie and Jamie. She would have done anything for them. I also didn't like Wanda at first. She stated that Melanie's body was know hers and that she had fallen in love with Jared and cared a lot for Jamie. Ok, first, you basically took her body and know you're taking the man she loves. It just made me so mad with her. Then she started having these moments with Jared and i could feel Melanie was jealous and she had a good reason too. Anyone would feel like she did. But then I started liking Wanda and she and Melanie got along. Then the ending was just great. I loved it!!!!!!! I was sooo happy when I found out there would be two more books in the series. Also I would love to see the movie!!!! So all in all, this was a fantastic book with awesome parts and characters. Can't wait for more books and to watch the movie. ...more
