This was a very interesting read for me. I totally enjoyed the Foreword part written by C. P. Snow, it gave the book more sense and I could understand more subtleties hidden in the actual book. When I started the part by G. H. Hardy, I got stuck by the openness of the book. He was not hiding under the finger and just said what he thought was true. La primera parte del libro es un prólogo bastante extenso que relata la vida de G.H. Hardy, su personalidad, su afición al criquet y su trayectoria académica.
El resto consiste en una disertación sobre la importancia de las matemáticas, su estética, la eterna discusión sobre si se inventan o se descubren en la naturaleza, y por último, un lamento por haber perdido la chispa creativa que se tiene en la juventud y se pierde con la madurez.
