★★★★★ (This is a review of the audiobook.) I know I gush over Rosalyn Landor every time I listen and review one of her narrations. If you haven’t heard her read before, Lisa Klaypas’ enchanting Wallflowers books are the series with which to start. I am not a fan of historicals usually, but I am finding myself throughly enjoying this series by Lisa Kleypas. I LOVED Secrets of a Summer Night and I LOVED It Happened One Autumn as well. Lord Westcliff was not my favorite person in the first book, but by the end I did see some redeeming qualities in him, but in this book, he blew me away!

This was not my favorite Kleypas book. I enjoyed the characters but at the same time found myself irritated with their behavior. My favorite comment: Marcus says to Lillian..."Queen Victoria herself could not drag a pair of savage brats like you along the path of respectability." Take that you heathen. He obviously wasn't trying to woo her at this point.
