Always a good time to be had in a NR book that features friendships and Celtic lore mysteries to be solved. And while Carter from The Bride Quartet series remains my one true love of NR love interests, Flynn Hennessy is right up there.

The first of the Key trilogy. Set in a fictitious Pennsylvania town, three women search to free the imprisoned souls of three demi-goddesses while trying to avoid malicious vengeful Celtic gods.
Perhaps this should really get a fourth star. I loved the characters. If you disregard the gods run amok aspect, this is a great romance. The dialog had me smiling through most of the book. Fun.

This is a great start to an interesting series. The women are strong, not without faults and actually stand on their own two feet. The guys have depth, character and are written with as much depth as the women (something that doesn't always happen). I like that there are several different connections-lines in this story - there are the main characters romance, then there are the interwoven friendships of the women, the men (old friends) and the way the larger group interacts. The best book of the trilogy. I enjoyed the fantasy twist in this trilogy. However, unlike the ghost story in Nora Robert's Garden trilogy, the fantasy storyline in this trilogy seemed to stay pretty static throughout each subsequent book which made the remaining two books seem to be simply re-hashing the first.
