What Members Thought

I adored the first book in the series and the second was a let down for me which is why it has been so many years before picking this one up. It is average. I liked Rule and Caring, but all the technical mumble jumbo about her condition was boring. And too much of the book was just the two of them discussing it.
Once they left the island it got more interesting as they interacted with others and were on the run. I really liked Grace and will probably check out her book.

In the previous book, Carling heals Tiago and in return Rune gives her a favour. He turns up on The Island to repay it and ends up accompanying Darling Carling on her trips through time.

I give this one a 3.5 stars.
I really like the Elder Races mythology but this one was a little slow in the story progression. Also i missed the interaction of the other characters.
I liked the set up for Oracle's Moon!! ...more
