So here's the premise: A mischievous temporally ambiguous five month old helps her aunt, who is a genius rocket propulsion scientist who is working as a dog sitter/bartender, find true love with another scientist. This book was good but definitely not up to her usual hotness with her highlanders. The MacKeage's were involved and so was their wacko magic but with a French dude as the hero - just not the same thing. After the avalanche, Luke pulls the sleigh through a blizzard for 30 miles or so. The whole magic thing is way more believable that that unreal feat. IMHO it ruined the ending. I didn't "feel" the romance between Camry and Luke at all which kinda ruined it for me. It just seemed forced. ...more
