OMG... I started this book at 1am this morning (couldn't sleep, and figured I'd read a chapter or two), and finished this book at 4am... All I can say is that it was one of the most amazing books I've ever read!!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could...
I wasn't sure what to think of this book, so only ordered book 1.. I'm bitterly regretting having to wait to find out what happens to Ellie and Rain (and all the other amazing characters)! I actually thought it would be a stand-alone novel... ...more

Tairen Soul is a fantasy series much loved by many readers so I was pleased to finally read it. I liked it, especially imagining the awesome beauty of the Tairen Soul in flight and the awakening of the soul-bond between the two major characters, Rain the tortured, solitary Tairen Soul and Ellie the poor craftsman's daughter with secrets of her own. fantastic world-building, awe-inspiring story, and amazing writing. What more is there to say. I'm not usually into fantasy fiction, but this book has changed my outlook. I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next in this saga. I feel well and truly hooked.
