What Members Thought
After the first 150 pages, i could barely put this book down. It was a suspense novel unlike any I have read in a while. At times, I was terrified, at times revolted, and others I cheered for the characters. Cannot wait to pick up the next of the series.
We'll see. I bought it for the nook for $5 - CAN THE HYPE BE BELIEVED?
So now that I'm finished, the answer is NO, the hype CANNOT be believed. I can't say I hated it, and it wasn't really a terrible read, but it surely wasn't my favorite and I won't be buying any of the sequels, or whatever the rest of "The Girl etc." books are. I'm not sure I can even be bothered to borrow them from the library. I just wasn't that impressed.

This was my favorite of the trilogy. I really enjoyed the "what happened to Harriet?" storyline in addition to the Lisbeth/Blomkvist plot.

A good thriller, but with very goofy writing.
Read this for book club....got sucked into the story even though it is violent and somewhat scary. I'm a wimp! I really want to read the other two in the trilogy.
