I’m not really sure why this book was called Anna Karenina-- this book was only marginally about her and her self destructive behaviors. To me, the book was much more about the character Levin, who felt much more interesting.

1863. Has had a special interest to me since using a selection for declamation in high school. The recent P&V translation seems very good. I also have the CDs in an earlier translation. Participated in an online discussion February-March 2008, using the CDs and still another translation.
