I read this book for a book club group here, and I’m very glad I did. Dumas has been on my TBR for years so I’m glad I finally got to try.
I loved the gruesome, horrific scenes of the first few chapters, and the tense tone of this otherwise very light, almost silly story of a tulip grower and Rosa. Rosa was an indomitable force, an awesome, strong female character I was happy featured very prominently.
