I loved this book! The characters love/hate relationship was reminiscent of the 30's and 40's screwball comedy love stories, except with more sexiness. I love that the hero is comfortable enough with himself to let the heroine shine. This is my first Loretta Chase book and I am definitely looking forward to reading more!

Loved the heroine in this one. Lydia hit Vere like a ton of bricks. :). What a force of nature she is. Knocked him flat on his butt on first encounter.
They are so well matched with the banter and the trouble they get into.
Shades of Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy.
Best side character goes to Susan the dog. :)

I had high hopes for this one. It was good just not as great as the other books by Ms. Chase.
