I remember reading a short story of Sydney Croft awhile back and thought it was super steamy, sexy, and smoking hot! Riding the Storm was exactly that and did the romance between the leads sizzle! The plot itself was pretty interesting and I did enjoy the beginning of Annika and Creed's relationship. I'm definitely looking forward to that. When I started reading this I really struggled and would have given up but the fact that it was co written by Larissa Ione kept me going. I also don't like to abandon a book midway through so kept pushing on and I am really glad that I did!

Although this is a paranormal romance it is not what I am used to in this genre and others are correct when they compare it to X-Men sort of setup which is ok but does take some getting used to. I think what make it harder to read was the introduction of so ma ...more
