This is the final book of the MacCarrick brothers trilogy.
The story of Ethan and Maddy.....by far, my favorite book of the trilogy. I read it in one six-hour sitting.
Ethan was once a handsome ladies man, but his face was horribly disfigured when was punished for something he didn't actually do. This alone was enough to rip out your heart. Not only does Ethan live under his family's curse.....he's also cursed with (what he considers) a physical deformity as well.

Awwwe! I was stressed out in most of this book, not knowing what either one would do. I read every page... wait. nope. i skipped the recaps of the other books. no biggie. I read all three of them within days, so, I did not need the recap.
I loved the end, and it was even stressful until the last page. I did skip to the epilogue at one point, so I could relax. Only one time in all KC's book was I disappointed, but she made up for it in the other books in the series. ...more

This was my first and definitely not my last Kresley Cole book. Very enjoyable and sexy read.
