I was sort of disappointed in how predictable this book was. However, it was a nice consistantly fast read. I had high expectations for Mencheres and the woman who would finally capture him and I wasn't disappointed. Kira was a great heroine, strong enough to handle Mencheres who really wasn't that hard to handle because once he fell, he fell like a big mighty oak. Definitely wasn't as good as the first book. The ending seemed like it was left just hanging. I'll keep reading though, i loved the first one.

I really enjoy JF's characters and I enjoyed this book very much. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I am glad I went a head with reading it anyway. I am not saying I liked it as much as the Night Huntress series but still it was very entertaining. The actual love story could have had more substance but then again it had fun twists and it was a fun read.

Kira Graceling definitely not TSTL. Mencheres is that secure with himself?? Yeah, probably. I almost gave it a 4...But Radjedef and that part of the story line was disappointing (Really? Takes over 4,000 years to 'end this'??). Still and all, not a bad read.
