For me the best so far. It's not the best because of Alyssa and Sam (even if I'm glad they finally got together!) but because the story was really really great!

It begins with Sam going to Sarasota for her soon-to-be ex-wife and suddenly we are into a huge coordinate action which involves Tom Paoletti, the FBI and mostly everyone! I understand now why the previous book was so lacking. I think that 5th and 6th books should be read as a whole story to understand them better.

2015 was the year of the re-read for me. Read all of my favorite novels again. Some more than once. GTF just improves with age.

Just finished re-reading GTF. After having read more in the Troubleshootres, Inc. series and getting to know more about the characters, I began to enjoy the books. Lt. Sam Starrett goes to see his soon to be ex-wife in Sarasota Florida to find her sister in the house dead. There is no sign of his soon to be ex-wife or his daughter. He goes on the run with Alyssa Locke to try and find them.
