A quick, smooth read that in the end left me saying, "So what?" I found the main character neither particularly interesting nor particularly plausible for his age. The dark, twisted fairy tales angle appealed, but I was disappointed by how untwisted they ended up being; the original Brothers Grimm was darker than this.
