Shelves: reverse-harem

I had already discovered Marie Mistry and added some of her books to my wishlist, but they were not on my "I need these books now"-list. Until I saw the cover and read the blurb for this book. The cover is just beautiful! The colors, the atmosphere, the emotions on the character's face. I added the book to the "buy-as-soon-as-available"-list and got myself the first Deadwood book to start with. It was love at first sight with Marie Mistry. I only wanted more and more after that first book.

This book is highly recommended but I was disappointed. I kept waiting for the spark to happen. It almost did when she used her powers.. Rose was interesting but the plot is moving so slowly and she keeps dying by doing what she keeps doing.
