Wow I don’t even have words right now! My mind switches and changed multiple times through this book on who I had my suspicions about. And I really didn’t see that ending coming. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I felt like this story is a new take on Tates usual style and this is honestly unreal! I’ve had to take a couple of days to figure out how to word this review and even still I’m struggling to put it into the correct words!!

I was throw right back into the Shadow Grove world and this intro into Hades life didn’t disappoint. I was worried if miss MK and Archer and his boys but to be honest as they are mentioned and their lives are all entwined you totally believe it’s a work or non-fiction and all these bad ass gangsters are real people who just have their extra helpings of drama. I thought the narrators did a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life! I thought the inflections were spot on, the dual narrator where the male and female talk for each of their parts (not just the whole chapter male, whole chapter female) was amazing. I felt like I was in the room with them watching it before my eyes (or listening...you know what I mean haha). I thought it was smart to keep on Lucas as a gruff male narrator.
