Nora is a regular run of the mill human with psychic powers. She can read a person's mind if she touches them, she can read a short amount of history of an object if she touches it, she has a 6th sense when someone means her harm and she has an allure which means males are drawn to her (I know, I know, my eyes are rolling too). Which is pretty much how she gets thrown head first into a case surrounding the mysterious disappearances of women. And also how she meets her future harem.

Great start!

This is a very entertaining story off to a great start. Nora is spunky, has a spine of steel and loyalty running in her blood. I love that she’s taking her time feeling her way around this world she’s found herself a part of and getting to know the new people in it. Can’t wait to see what kind of Trouble she can get into next haha I’m sure Terrance will have a heart attack

There is no romance in this book on the part of the heroine. Her past is too traumatic for her to be romantically inclined. However, there is potential there for it to happen in the future, so I won't rule it out.

Nora Jacobs is a young woman with a talent that she uses to hide from underworlders and bad guys alike - she's psychic. This talent keeps her away from most bad situations but now she's come to the notice of vampires. What happens from there is a fabulous urban fantasy story.

Human or not

What is Nora, i can't believe she is just human. Especially the end when she is fighting the bad guy. T-man is my favorite and then there is also Nick and parker..and we wont forget Oliver. Love the story and cannot wait for the next book. ...more

I love that Nora is willing and capable of taking care of her self. I didn't like the way she talked to Terrence though. It was kinda annoying. I'm excited to figure out what is going on with Nora and why she keeps drawing people to her. I have a theory and I hope I'm right! ...more
