Arsyn moves to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee a town full of magical beings. The Jinn are an ancient race of wish-givers. Arsyn is a Conduit, one who binds and strengthens the power of multiple Jinn. The Kismet Brothers; Killian, Elijah, Zachary, and Talan have been dreaming of and searching for their Conduit for years. It turns out that they are a rare quad-Jinn who will share one powerful Conduit. Arsyn. Their first meeting with Arsyn doesn't go quite according to plan. It's actually hysterical. It's not easy for her to trust and she doesn't believe in their magical world to begin with. It doesn't take them long, however, to win her over and capture her heart. Yet as much as they care for her, they make mistakes, they aren't honest. They risk her and their bond. Arsyn is being targeted by a dark force and stalked by an evil Jinn, Ren. The brother's secrets could lose them their Conduit.

Arsyn is fantastic. Her photographic memory, her silly streak, her strength, and perseverance are just a few things that make her special. But it's her compassion and ability to love that make her remarkable. She's been shown harshness her entire life, yet she's still a kind soul. She's beautiful. However, her life's tragedies have left her vulnerable for a Sihr (dark) Jinn attack. The Kismet brothers are all wonderful and unique. Killian, the protector; Elijah with his intelligence; Zachary, the healer; and Talon with his ever-ready smile and humor. And all so yummy! The way they interacted with each other, with Arsyn individually, and as a group were highly entertaining. The rest of the cast of characters were also fully developed and add to the story. The twins, Adie and Nova are adorable.

K.B. Ladnier and Anita Maxwell have created a wonderful world with extraordinary characters. There's humor, light teasing moments, sweetness, slow simmering passions, hope, frustration, pain, tragedy, anger, suspense, danger, and regret. So much action, so many emotions. There's a cliffhanger that leaves you so very eager for the next book. Excellent start to this series.

Great start to the series. This is one of those books that you just don't want to end. The story is a RH that is full of surprises and developed characters. If you're on the fence, don't be, you won't regret it!!! Solid writing with a new concept on Jinn that I've yet to see anywhere else. ...more
