Throughout the read, I can't keep up. Not that it stopped me from reading. I mean, yes, I do have an idea on what's the dual pov for...but sadly it has been kept unanswered till the very end.

Throughout the read, I can't keep up. Not that it stopped me from reading. I mean, yes, I do have an idea on what's the dual pov for...but sadly it has been kept unanswered till the very end.

Another thing is that whenever I read from scarlett dawn, I know...I freaking know there's going to be a death somewhere. Sometimes, in the middle of the series, when you're already invested on the character. Sometimes, right after a few chapters. STILL, I can't seem to not read her books. STILL, I can't seem to be not wrecked and be not surprised whenever it comes for me. I mean, knowing all that must have prepare to some degree, right?

But no. Just no. Still kills me every time.

It grips me, the struggles of the heroines presented in this book. They actually, in my opinion, live parallel lives. Both are considered young in their respective societies. Both are going to shoulder huge responsibilities. Both have to...harden themselves to carry the burdens of said responsibilities at such 'young' ages. But both of them are wise beyond their years and have steel in their spines.

As usual, the story line and the whiplash injury inducing plot twists are, ultimately, what I've 'come' for. Can't wait for what the authors have in store for the upcoming books. Hopefully, the questions will be answered, too.
