This book...is everything! I love this book and I love this series. These authors are fabulous.

The characters are great. The world building is awesome. The storyline is fantastic. But Willa and the Abcurses....are phenomenal. This book has me laughing constantly. Willa is clumsy and her inner dialogue is the best. Two of my favorite lines:

“What have we told you about doors?” he asked.
“They move … so I shouldn’t lean on them.”

Love the chaos!

This series is getting so good! And it’s only the second book. There are so many great characters and the storyline is just full of action and adventure and danger and chaos. Willa is seriously the best. Her “what you see is what your get, ‘cause I don’t really care and expect the worst” attitude seems to win over everyone (except those in charge of Blesswood Academy). The “tension” between Willa and the Abcurse brothers, and even Cyrus to some extent, is really ramping up. Can’t ...more
