Despite what the blurb at the top says, which prepared me for a straight romance book, this was anything but, and a seriously welcome addition to my growing list of "new authors to follow everything they do because I love them"

Really well done tale
Thank goodness not every author pushes the insta-love angle. Especially with a YA cast of characters! I really enjoyed this story. The world building was planned out and executed well. There was no rush to the pace of the story, no quick wrap up. The plot was solid, very few grammatical errors. But best of all, you actually liked the characters. A rarity in a lot of these new releases.
