What a great read! Hard to put down! This story was amazing!

The characters are unique. Briar is a completely different MC than I've ever read before, from her condition to her smarts, from her compassion to her temerity. She is a new breed of heroine all her own. The take on vampires is a bit different from the norm too, and I love how each of the guys are their own personality, each bringing something to the table.

The storyline is one-of-a-kind. And Proserpina really sucks you into the tale.

I really liked how this took a slightly different spin to all the vampire books I have read recently. It was also good to see a slightly different genre from Ripley after reading some of her other books. I read this in one sitting and was instantly drawn in to the story and the characters. Actually 3.5 ⭐

What an interesting storyline!

I'm a sucker for vampire stories, and this one has a slight twist to it which I find really interesting!

I'm not the biggest fan of the writing style or the characters yet, but I am hopeful that the sequel will change that. I do like Briar, simply because she actually thinks before reacting, so that's a nice change.
