I'm totally okay with cliffhangers. I can handle them very well, if I may say so myself. There's a reason I'm okay with not binging series and always having at least a week between two books by the same author. But...not knowing when the paperback of the fourth book is going to be released and then being left with this cliffhanger, that's just mean.

The additional 30,000+ words made a huge difference in this book.
You have a lot more information now.
I’m glad this was added for the readers.
I feel like more action happened and better prepared us for what will come in the next books.

This was a short book compared to the others it seemed.

Zara and her mates are still reeling from Nic’s “death” and finding some of their missing pack members.
Trying to figure things out is taking a toll on Zara and the guys.

These books just keep getting better and better! Each time I finish one I think it is the best, only to be bested by the next! Stunich is an incredibly talented author; I am beginning to think she can't write anything poorly. 😉 Seriously, I have loved everything thus far!

Some specifics. These books go in order, following the same story arc. So, if you haven't already, go get the first two (Pack Ebon Red is book 1). You won't be disappointed! And if you have read them, you really don't need this ...more

So good!

I have really grown to love this series and these characters. The story arc is great, action packed, surprises constantly coming from no where, the sex jokes, steamy scenes and entertaining flirtation between the alpha and her mates. I'm this book you can feel that things are starting to come to a head, with how everything has escalated and the hightening of the magic. Cannot get enough of Zara and her 7 wolves, I love paranormal books with hot shifters, vampires, fae, and magic! Makes this book awesome an another great read.
