OMG! You need to read this book!
Holy crap! Just from this first book, you can tell this is going to be a crazy emotional series. I just couldn't put the book down!This group of orphans/foster kids/juvies have all basically grown up together. Their lives have been crap and the hits just keep coming. And through all that, those "best friend"/familial feelings have morphed into attraction between Merit and the boys Maddox, Gunner, Nash and maybe even Hitch,as they're getting older.

This story really hit close to home for me. I loved how real it felt. This author really does the homework for the stories. The characters are well thought out and rounded, they're believable. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
