A Long History of Jurisprudence and Crime
It's so astonishing how often these monsters had committed crimes and were given with minor slaps on the wrists. Even when sentenced they usually serve only a small percentage of it: days, weeks, months. Serving years seems to make them determined not to leave witnesses behind next time.
