All I want from one of these is a more thorough and entertaining explanation of events then you get from a wikipedia article. Surprising how many books fail to do that.
This one had just enough details of the events mixed in with just enough biographical details of the main characters. Nothing is going to amaze anyone but it's a good read. Reagan is the star of course and he never seems less than a charismatic leader type. ...more

An admirable example of the genre. Thoroughly researched, it gets the reader right into the center of the storm that is an assassination attempt.
