Page turner! I was living in Phoenix when the Arias trial was big news. It bogged down when the defense went on and on about sex. If it was intended for shock value, I think the jury had to be desensitized with so much coverage. I couldn't wait until the end when Martinez backed her into a corner. Conviction The Untold Story of Putting Jodi Arias Behind Bars by Juan Martinez! Wow!

First of all I'd like to say R.I.P Travis Alexander!

If you've followed the Jodi Arias case and haven't got the chance to read this, I highly recommend it! This was probably the best book I'd read about Jodi Arias, and I've read several. Written by the prosecutor, Juan Martinez, I appreciated this author's take on how he was able to pull back the curtain, and show what Jodi Arias was truly like. I admire him as a prosecutor, and he wrote a darn good book too! ...more

If you followed the trial there's no news for you here. However it's a fresh perspective seeing all the material in a chronological order. It also fills a little bit of the gaps of the things that happened behind he scenes. It's well written and very easy read. I couldn't put it down. The only down side was that it included almost transcripts from the trial, which if you've seen the trial it was repetitive. ...more

Fantastic read!

I hated for this book to end! Very interesting to hear the prosecutor's side of things. I hope he continues writing.
