I actually really liked this book. It was listed at the library a horror book and at first I couldn't see why, but as I read on I can now see why. It is also a mix of humor and romance. If it was a movie it would probably be in the horror section.
Mortal Instruments is primarily based on demon hunters. The book has everything such as warlocks, vampires and werewolves.

So far I like this. I started backwards, with the Clockwork Angel, and maybe because the protagonists are older in that one, this one felt a little childish in moments. And, ahem, I really dislike women protagonists who slap the men in stories. I mean, really! But otherwise, nice so far...
