The mortal instruments trilogy is one of the best fantasy series that I've read and the city of glass, the last installment of the books is indeed the best among the three.
The story progresses and it improve a lot. The setting change from new york to Idris which is great because we finally see what Idris is.
The characters enormously change, became mature and we get to know their personality and idealism more.

Loved it! Amazing! I am beyond happy of how this book ended. I wish I could live in Idris!
I am swaying between 4 and 5 stars. This book made the whole series so worth it!
The details in these books are so vivid, everything from beauty to grotesque and from magical to horror. Other books I have read, I can be a little flexible on how the characters look but with this series I have a very vivid picture of each character (they are all really **HOT** in their own unique way).

So, I have just finished the Mortal Instruments trilogy, and I am quite impressed. First of all, it was a fun ride. A fast read, with lots of humor and touching moments and some beautiful descriptions - never over the top, never too much. The characters really drew me in, and I was reading for their sake, which is marvelous.
