I'm confused about this book. I don't know how I feel about it. First, I like is that it's really funny! I mean I would laugh out loud reading it. But then, when "after" comes, I'm like pissed at the whole thing. He did a great job surprising the reader, such a great job that I was as pissed as Pudge!
Now, the characters, wow, are incredible! I can surely say I love Alaska too! And the original way he managed to write it was amazing. The cover is a big no no. Both of them! The story is good even ...more

I really think I should have read this book and not listened to it. It was a little slow at times for me, and the humor was there but a little light. Miles, the protagonist, was a little dull for a lead role while Alaska was a little bit of everything and oh so interesting. I could easily see plain little Miles falling for her. Hard.

Looking for Alaska is SO GREAT! John Green is an absolute genius, he writes scenes in books that I don't know how anyone would put in words but he did it, man. He is so awesome. Alaska Young is probably one of my favorite fictional characters, she's mysterious, and beautifully sad. She's smart and hilarious and when she died, you were mourning her death along with Pudge and Colonel. I recommend everyone read this book, I don't care if you are 14, I don't care if you are 26 or 52, it will make yo
