A weekend holiday turns into a nightmare in the Bermuda Triangle!!

The Mystery Kids, Joe, Amy & Sarah are on a holiday with their friend Will, traveling on a cabin cruiser to The Caribbean. Uti, whom they had met on a previous trip in the Caribbean, was taking them to Oxley Island, which is located on the rim of the Bermuda Triangle. The Mystery Kids, Joe, Amy & Sarah are on a holiday with their friend Will, traveling on a cabin cruiser to The Caribbean. Uti, whom they had met on a previous trip in the Caribbean, was taking them to Oxley Island, which is located on the rim of the Bermuda Triangle. The island has some of the rarest animals on the planet and they had begged their parents to let them go. Uti was taking supplies to Grace a young zoologist who was doing research on the island. After visiting with Grace they were returning to the cruiser when Uti realized that he had forgotten the package that Grace had asked him to deliver for her. The kids had been so tired that they told him that they would go on to the cruiser while he fetched the package. While he was gone a tropical storm blew in and the cruiser was pushed out to sea. The kids woke up a little later and realized that they were adrift and that a larger ship was bearing down on them in the storm. What will happen, will the ship see them or will their cruiser be destroyed??? If so what will happen to the kids???

What did I like? This is Paul’s 11th book in this series plus he has a series called The Mystery Series Shorts, in addition to numerous other books that he has penned. I believe that I have read all but a couple of his books and even though he has geared them more to children than adults, I have enjoyed everyone that I have read. I have shared these with my children, grandchildren, and even my friend's children and grandchildren. Paul has also donated some of his books to one of the local schools here. The feedback from the school was so incredible.

What will you like? Energizing, exciting, action-filled, fun and enjoyable to read. His characters are so wonderful and he has written his series taking place in the 1950s. So the character's values are the same that I was taught and that I passed on to my children. Something kids today are lacking, which is a shame. Their interaction with adults is refreshing and so typical of that time frame. The loyalty between siblings and friends is shown on every page. His descriptions and attention to the details are so good that you will feel the wind on your face with the storm roaring around you. As you read you will then feel the excitement and action, with the tropical sun shining down and heating you up. Excellent read and book that should be added to not only your children’s library but yours too!
