I like the way the book was paced and the fact that I can imagine exactly where Katniss was coming from and where she actually is as well as what she could be feeling. It is just a shame that Peeta's story did not evolve much, especially his feelings for katniss but given the setting and the pace also where and how the book jumped off, I guess the author was clever enough to sneak that in to add more mystery and thrill coz you, as a reader, will clearly question the motive of Peeta's sudden decl ...more

The Hunger Games Trilogy is officially declared the best series out of all books written(yes, it's better than harry potter and twilight) by me, and i read ALOT of books.I am yet to read a book more interesting, suspenseful, emotional, and more...I don't know how many tears i've shed over these books...Especially Mockingjay. Suzanne Collins had me hooked. She's amazing. I'm starting to think she's even a better writer than J.K Rowling...and I've been a die-hard Harry Potter fan until a week ago ...more

Everyone in goodreads keep telling me that the book was a very interesting book and that i will love it. yes' i fell in love with book.., with the characters, with every word written on it.

When i reached the part where they announced that there must only be one winner. my heart sank into a hole so deep. i can't even see the bottom. i let my tears loose..holding them longer will not ease the sadness i felt. a book that could make me cry is a really good one.

100 plus Star, loved this book, loved the way that katniss is a survivor, and peeta is the voice that always knows what to say, when the time is right. Gale is just awesome, but I would rather have him as more of a brother than a lover. I think this would be a great movie series! (uhmm uhmm better than harry potter)

4.5 stars rounded down. I loved this book, but the ending was weak, as well as the rest of the series. I think the Hunger Games would have been better as a single book.
