The Host by Stephenie Meyer is a sensationally written and beguiling book. It's complicated and intricate storyline will captivate and it's tangible characters will beckon as readers become lost in it's emotional depth and romantic beauty. There's just something about the way Stephenie Meyer's writing pulls at every fiber of my being. I've read it twice now and want to read it again soonish because I can't seem to get the story out of my head and want to read it over and over. Meyer really grabs at the things that will make you emotional and I cried more than twice each time I read it.

I listened to it this time, because I have read it about a gazillion times, and thought that it would be nice to listen to it, because I would definitely hear things that I missed when I read it.

I still love this book so much, and I am still amazed by how many emotions that it made me feel. I have so much respect for Melanie and Wanda, because they put up with so much, and despite having negative feelings for each other in the beginning, they end up having nothing but love and ...more

I have mixed feelings about it ,its just that its a completely different planet ,dont get me wrong i like the idea of free everything but still too confusing and i had mixed feelings about the conclusion its hard to experience the emotions and effections mel (wanda ) has towards the range of characters throught the book ! is she completely content with the choice in the end or is does she resent the fact she doesnt posses the heart of the man she set out to love?

This book was slightly different to the genre I usually read, nonetheless after I got over the weirdness of the plot I began to appreciate the concept and as the plot thickened it was impossible to put this down. Fantastic novel, I really hope Meyer gets around to writing the second!
