What more could possibly be said about this classic novel? What fresh, new insights could I possibly add to the thousands of reviews that currently exist about this book? Basically, if somebody asked for an example of a classic British novel dealing with societal tropes, marriage, money, gossip and social status with well developed characters + focused on the lives of women in the 1800's, then THIS is the book that fits that example perfectly. --Jen from Quebec :0) ...more
