This starts out as if will be a standard psychic teen romance - girl is told by psychic mother that her kiss will kill her true love - but it becomes much more nuanced. Blue (the girl) lives in a town in Virginia where there's a private school full of rich boys (and one on a scholarship) who wear sweaters with a raven emblem. One of them is searching for the resting place of Owen Glendower whose body they believe was transported along a ley line from Wales across the sea to Virginia.

This book held a few surprises; some were revealed and some are still hidden. The idea behind the story is what grabbed my attention and the way the characters were written made me want to read the second one immediately, especially with the closing line of the book.

I actually started out rolling my eyes and prepared not to like this book because it seemed from Chapter 1 that it was going to focus on a teenage romance, and I'm just not really into books like that. Not my cup of tea.

I really liked this book. I have read most of the Shiver series. I liked it but this book is so much better. I liked most of the characters. I liked the supposed stuck up boys. I liked the main character Blue. Her mom is a physic and she has been told all her life that if she falls in love and kisses her true love, he will die. Well, nothing beats that kind of opening. As usual, it isn't how it seems. I really like the tiwst in it. I am not going to say. You will have to read it for yourself.

Un libro entretenido para quien gusta de lo mágico y misterioso. El merito de las tres estrellas se lo otorgo por el simple hecho de mantenerme pegado al libro.
En sí otra novela juvenil más del montón.
