A great read to learn what it was like to be on the ground in Hiroshima on that fateful August day. The writing and structure are beyond solid, but I have issues with who he elected to cover in the book and some unintentional biases wrapped up with that.

An interesting book that chronicles the experiences of six survivors of Hiroshima. It details their immediate experience and recollection of the blast, as well as follows them through their life after. I did not find the writing style to be particularly engaging.
